영국의 싱어송라이터 에드시런의

2017년 발매된 'Divide' 앨범에

수록된 Supermarket Flowers란 곡입니다.

에드시런이 Divide 앨범을

준비하던 도중 건강이 좋지 않으시던

외할머니가 돌아가셨는데요

그 당시 어머니의 입장에서 쓴 곡이

바로 Supermarket Flowers라고 합니다.

한 인터뷰에서 에드시런은 

이렇게 말했다고 합니다.

She was one of the nicest women

you’d ever meet and she was my mom’s mom. 

It was written from my mom’s point of view.

그녀는 만나 본 사람 중 가장 

훌륭한 여성 중 한 명이었고, 

그녀는 나의 엄마의 엄마였습니다.
